ETHIOPIA NATURAL
This is a new favorite of ours!
Kebede Genale, 77, pioneered coffee farming in Buku roughly 31 years ago, returning from a Bible study trip to Yirgacheffe with seedlings at a time when Hambella was considered too cold for coffee. After several failed attempts, he became the first successful grower in the region. Today he farms over 20 hectares, processing on-site and separating lots by cherry maturity. Buku's slow, frost-prone drying conditions, often 16 or more days, produce the dense, high-altitude beans with berry and chocolate character his coffees are known for. A former Cup of Excellence top-40 finalist.
Note: Sliding Scale not available for 5lb bags - Must select “N/A”
